All I Want For Christmas...

are these. Or these.

That's all. That's it. I could die happy if I had a full set some of them!

The only other thing I have ever wanted just as badly was is a Schacht Ladybug ::sigh::

We are in harmony on our Ladybug obsession I see...same with the needles. Hmmm..addiction to needles and Ladybugs. That either makes us entomologists or drug addicts...LOL.

"For your knitting comfort all 4" DPNs have a blunt point on one end and a stiletto point on the other. All other length DPNs have stiletto-stiletto."

It took me a minute to figure that out, but it's brilliant! It totally takes into account the way people knit with those short needles, especially since we don't have needle holsters anymore the way those old-school English knitters did. (What were those things called?) I have spent several hours sock-knitting only to wonder, the next time I changed clothes, just where all those little red dots came from. *blush* Well, I reckon that wouldn't be a problem if your sock needles had a blunt end!

Hey, Rhonda! I opt for the latter - er...addicts, that is. It's so fun being addicted to fiber 'n' other cool stuff!

Hey, Jennifer - yes, it took me a bit to figure that one out, too! As you said...brilliant! I have no idea what those needle holster-thingies were called, either, but I can vouch for the millions of times I've impaled myself on sock needles. Okay, only hundreds of times, but still...! Dang, that hurts! Some of the impalements were so deep, I couldn't knit anything for days on end!
